The iSi System for whipped cream has many advantages. Unlike hand whipping, making whipped cream in an iSi Cream Whipper is faster, easier, and yields up to twice the volume. The sealed system also makes it possible to store unused whipped cream in the refrigerator for as long as the cream is fresh. As an alternative to aerosol whipped topping, whipped cream made using the iSi System is real whipped cream. It’s fresher, contains no artificial flavorings, colors, or preservatives, and can be customized to your flavor and sweetness preferences.
In recent years, leading chefs have opened the doors to a whole new world of flavors and textures by using the iSi System to aerate a seemingly endless variety of foods. Called espumas or foams (espuma is Spanish for foam), this technique has become popular with some of the most respected chefs around the world from every style of cuisine. The iSi System is also being utilized by leading mixologists to create airy toppings and carbonated drinks and garnishes for the bar.
To support the changing needs of our chefs and customers, we have expanded our signature whippers to include a free-standing model and another with thermal capabilities. In addition, we recently launched the iSi Creative Whip, our first multifunctional whipper designed specifically for the home chef.
