Q: Why can’t I dispense all the contents from my iSi cream whipper?
A: If shaken for too long, the butterfat in the cream (or dessert) can become too stiff to dispense completely. Please follow these recommended shaking guidelines:
Fresh cream (36% fat), shake 3-4x per charger
Fresh cream (33% fat), shake 4-5x per charger
UHT cream (32% fat), shake 5-6x times per charger
For lower fat content (min. 30%) or for lighter consistency, shake again if required.
A: The device was not operated with the “headfirst” (decorator tip vertical) position. The pressure was thus exhausted prematurely and the device can no longer be emptied completely.
Q: Why can’t I unscrew the head off my iSi whipper?
A: Before removing the head from an iSi bottle, always release the excess pressure first. Place the device upright, place a towel over the outlet and gently operate the lever (push-button) until the pressure is gone from the iSi device. Now the head can be removed from the bottle. If the head cannot be removed easily, do not use force. We ask that you send the complete device to the iSi service center for examination.
Q: Where can I get replacement parts for my iSi cream whipper?
A: Our online shop for replacement parts can be found at www.isi.at. We would be happy to send you the replacement parts available from this shop for your iSi cream whipper. For repairs to all other device components, we ask that you send your entire device to our factory for the repairs.
Q: Who takes care of repairs for my iSi cream whipper?
A: You can send your iSi cream whipper to our office for repairs. The address is:

Attn: Customer Service

Fairfield, NJ 07004
ATTENTION: Send the complete iSi cream whipper. In addition, please include a brief explanation of the device error.
Q: Why does my whipper seem to lose pressure prematurely?
A: Make sure the decorator nozzle is attached before charging the device.
A: Make sure that the head gasket is inserted and/or not damaged.
A: If you include flavorings or additives, these must be in liquid or powder form, and they must be dissolved or stirred into some cream in advance. Otherwise, clumping may occur and block the removal system. A removal system blocked by clumps, pieces of fruit or seeds, spices that are too course or similar things can also cause the removal system to not seal properly.
Q: After cleaning in the dishwasher, my Gourmet Whip has a white film on the head. What caused this?
A: Under certain circumstances at high cleaning temperatures or prolonged contact with high ph value cleaning agents, a light white or gray-colored film can build up on the metal head. This does not impair the functionality of the device in any way. Do not attempt to scrape off. Do not use scouring agents.
Q: Why does my soda siphon immediately spray water when I screw on the charger?
A: Never fill the bottle without using the measuring tube. The measuring tube must sit securely in the bottle neck. The bottle is full when the water starts to spill out of the measuring tube. Avoid overfilling by tilting or shaking the bottle.
Q: My soda water doesn’t seem carbonated enough. What am I doing wrong?
For best results, following these usage guidelines:
1) Fill the bottle with cold water. Do not overfill.
2) After screwing on the charger, shake the device vigorously a minimum of 5 times.
3) Store the soda siphon in a cold place.
Note: Good carbonation can be recognized by "small pearls" and not large bubbles – as many users incorrectly assume.
Containers cleaned with a glass protection agent results in very smooth surface making the pearls nearly invisible.
Q: Can I use other company components with the iSi system?
A: Use only iSi original chargers and components with the iSi system. Individual iSi components and chargers are designed for optimal use when used together. Never combine third-party chargers or components with the iSi system because we cannot guarantee their quality or safety. iSi heads are marked with the logo on the head and charger holder. iSi bottles are marked on the base.
